Full description and what we offer
Hawaii Extreme Paintball & Airsoft (HXP) in Kapolei operates the only certified paintball facility in the entire Pacific region. Originally a weekend-only operation, the field expanded to full scheduling after a June 2013 grand reopening, now welcoming groups of 10 or more any day by appointment.
"HXP has about 200 paintball regulars, from intermediate to advanced, from age 12 on up, military and civilian." — General Manager Mike Yelton
The facility draws both locals and visitors, with recent hosting of one of only eight National Professional Paintball League tournaments in the entire country—attracting international players.
Multiple game formats run on well-maintained fields with natural and constructed barriers: - Elimination games (10-minute respawn rounds, 5-minute sudden death finale) - Capture the flag and objective-based scenarios - Sniper and tactical play alongside aggressive charging strategies
Referees ensure safety and manage game flow. Paintball gun and protective mask included with play.
Paintball ranks as one of the fastest-growing sports in the U.S., with over 6 million active players nationwide. HXP welcomes beginners to professionals—first-timers often become regulars after their first game.
