Next Level Training delivers specialized firearms and combatives instruction through intensive 2-day courses on Oahu's North Shore. The program combines firearms tactics with hands-on defensive techniques—not classroom theory.
Instructors bring serious credentials:
- •Sgt. Don Gulla: 12-year SWAT team/entry specialist, police academy instructor for 7 years, state-certified LE and security firearms instructor. Over 38 years of martial arts training and 5-time Karate Gold Medalist at the World Police and Fire Games. Chief instructor for SIRT training systems.
- •Mike Hughes: World-class competitive shooter
- •Britt Lentz: NextLevel Training instructor
The curriculum covers real-world scenarios:
- •Shooting from compromised positions (seated)
- •Close quarters weapon retention and small joint manipulations
- •Tactical falls and positional shooting
- •Flinch draw drills and weapon retention fundamentals
- •Live fire range time applying learned techniques
- •Stop kicks and defensive tactics
Training uses SIRT pistols (laser-based training guns) for hands-on work, then transitions to live fire on the range to practice everything under pressure.
