Alliant Powder's roots trace back to 1872 as Laflin & Rand, later becoming Hercules Powder Company—the name reloaders have known for generations. The company traces its origins to the DuPont explosives division in 1912. Today, Alliant operates from their facility at 2299 Snake River Avenue in Lewiston, Idaho 83501 and is part of The Kinetic Group, which also owns Federal, Remington, CCI, Speer, and HEVI-Shot.
