In 2007, the club was renamed to honor founding member and long-time resident Lt. Ben Hurtig. It's the only facility in the Sun Valley area offering shotgun, pistol, and precision rifle shooting under one roof.

Members get a high-volume shooting card for $1,000 that gives $1,150 worth of targets—that's 36 cents per target.
Sporting clays shooters can rent one of four golf carts for $20 (members) or $30 (non-members). Two riders per cart maximum. You can also bring your own golf cart, ATV, or UTV.
West Side Rifle and Pistol Range - Paper and steel targets from 3 yards to 1,450 yards - Shooters can fire up to 50 BMG (no 50 BMG on steel targets) - Non-Members: $25/day (adults), $12 (kids 16 and under) - Members: FREE - NO green tip ammo (M855 steel core penetrator rounds)—violators get fined and/or banned
East Side Pistol Pits - Handgun only - Paper and steel targets from 1 yard to approximately 25 yards - Open year-round - Non-Members: $25/day (adults), $12 (kids 16 and under) - Members: FREE

Hurtig enforces three basic safety rules:
1. Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction 2. Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot 3. Always keep the gun unloaded until ready to use
Range Safety Officers monitor the facility. You must complete their digital release form before participating—safety is their #1 priority.
2026 memberships available for $300/year. Members get free range access and significantly reduced costs on clay targets (36 cents per target for sporting clays vs. 55 cents for non-members).
Located in the heart of Blaine County at 105 Ohio Gulch Road, Hailey ID 83333. This is the only full-service shooting facility serving the entire Sun Valley area.
