Malad Valley Upland Hunts

Malad Valley Upland Hunts is a family-owned hunting preserve offering authentic upland game hunting experiences across over 1,000 acres of natural habitat in the Malad Valley. No membership required—hunters can book day hunts during the season.

Malad Valley Upland Hunts specializes in upland game hunting with a focus on creating authentic, wild-like hunting conditions. The preserve encourages hunters to bring their own dogs, allowing for genuine field experiences similar to hunting on public land.

• •Chukars: $15 per bird
• •Pheasants: $20 per bird

The preserve also offers hunting for sharptail grouse, forest grouse, valley quail, scaled quail, and Mearns quail. Contact the facility for additional game availability and custom hunting packages.

Idaho Fish and Game requires all hunters to possess a valid Idaho hunting license. Non-residents may purchase a shooting preserve permit from an Idaho Fish and Game vendor. Hunter orange clothing is mandatory for safety.

Malad Valley Upland Hunts maintains a line of quality English Setters trained on multiple game bird species. Puppies and started dogs are occasionally available for purchase from their breeding program.
