Full description and what we offer
Skyline Gun Club is a non-profit shotgun shooting club located in Idaho Falls, offering year-round shooting opportunities for members and the public. Whether you're a competitive shooter or recreational enthusiast, this well-established facility provides diverse shotgun disciplines in a safe, community-focused environment.
Skyline Gun Club specializes exclusively in shotgun shooting with multiple course options:
The club welcomes both members and the public. Annual memberships are available at $85/year (renewing in January) and provide significant savings on shooting fees. Non-members are welcome to shoot at slightly higher per-round rates. Groups of six or more shooters should call ahead or arrive before 2:00 PM to ensure range availability.
Skyline Gun Club maintains professional-grade facilities including target stands, trap machines (including newly donated equipment), proper range infrastructure, and a clubhouse. The grounds are designed to accommodate both casual shooters and organized competitions.
The club enforces strict safety protocols and operates with strong community ties, supporting local schools (Skyline High Trap Team), charitable events (Heroes Defense Skyline Shootout), and community initiatives like the annual Turkey Shoot benefiting the Community Food Basket.
Located at 6888 West Arco Highway in Idaho Falls, the club is open daily with hours varying by staff availability. Last shooters begin at 3:00 PM. Contact the clubhouse at (208) 525-5875 or President Lance Owens at (208) 520-4888 for current hours and special event information.
