Location details and information
If you're anywhere along the Payette River corridor and looking for a local club, Horseshoe Bend Gun Club has been holding it down since 2006. Saves you the drive into Boise when you just want to shoot.
What we know: - Supports both recreational and competitive shooting - Located right on Highway 55 in Horseshoe Bend - Part of the Idaho club network (listed alongside Weiser Trap Club and others)
What we don't know: - Specific disciplines offered (trap, skeet, sporting clays?) - Membership costs or requirements - Range hours and availability
Contact: Mike Hefner at 208-793-2271 for current info on shooting schedules and how to get involved.
The club appears to be community-run rather than a commercial operation. If you're in Horseshoe Bend, Garden Valley, or anywhere in that stretch of Boise County, give Mike a call to see what they've got going on.
