Michael Slevnik runs Firearms Training Chicago with a focus on making the concealed carry process actually straightforward. Every instructor is certified by Illinois State Police, and they follow state guidelines to the letter—no shortcuts, no complications.
- •Part 1 (8 hours): Pistol operation, safety fundamentals, shooting mechanics (aiming, trigger control, breath control), firearm maintenance, holster selection, range etiquette, and dry fire practice.
- •Part 2 (8 hours): Illinois law, use of force, the FOID Act, transportation laws, police interaction, and situational awareness.
Bring a notebook and pen. Food and drinks welcome—these are full-day classes.
- •License Renewals: 3-hour renewal courses for 5-year Illinois CCW license expirations
- •Utah Concealed Carry: Training for Utah CCW certificate (valid in 30 states)
- •Application Processing: Full support with Illinois State Police paperwork
