For Illinois CCL applicants: 1. Complete 16-hour pistol safety course with an approved instructor 2. Obtain your FOID card ($10, mailed to State Police) 3. Submit CCL application online with course certificate, fingerprints, and $150 fee (or $300 for non-residents)
