Full description and what we offer
Wolfbee runs live fire pistol classes in Chicagoland designed around one principle: you get better at shooting by actually shooting. Their four-hour sessions are completely focused on student trigger time—not instructor demonstrations or standing in line waiting your turn. You'll fire 300-400 rounds per class and get hundreds of repetitions with the skills being taught.
Landon started Wolfbee as a regular shooter who carries a gun daily for self-defense—not as a military vet, LEO, or security contractor. He approaches firearms training like a craft to be perfected. Building shooting skill requires the same dedicated practice that develops any virtue: you don't learn theoretical marksmanship, you learn through doing.
Their training focuses on real-world fundamentals that apply to everyday self-defense, not combat tactics, tactical fads, or hypothetical apocalypse scenarios. The goal is building habits and confidence that work when you need them.
Classes run Saturday mornings (9am–1pm) at Article II range in Lombard, IL. Wolfbee schedules around students' availability—email them if the listed schedule doesn't fit your timeline.

Wolfbee is State of Illinois-approved to offer the 16-hour concealed carry class required for an Illinois CCL permit. Landon holds USCCA home defense and CCL certifications. Private classes can be scheduled at your home, workplace, or location of choice. The course covers:
"I've already gotten better at shooting in 10 minutes of training with you." — Fr. Josh Miller
Landon has been shooting for over 25 years and carrying concealed daily for 5+ years. He built Wolfbee specifically to help regular people shoot better—whether you're brand new to firearms or working to shave tenths of a second off your draw time.
Email [email protected] or fill out the contact form on their site. Include your experience level and what you're interested in learning. Wolfbee doesn't try to maximize class size—they focus on meeting each student where they're at.
Wolfbee started as a failed drawing but became something bigger. The creature embodies the qualities Wolfbee training cultivates: the ferocity and tenacity of a wolf combined with the endurance and virtue of a bee. It's a mascot for what shooters should become—proficient, competent, and disciplined.
