5 Star Firearms operates a state-of-the-art range facility in Zion with 16 lanes at 25 yards, engineered and built by Target Worx—the same outfit that designs ranges for military installations. The centerpiece is Target Worx's automated target retrieval system, which debuted at NRA Headquarters in 2010.

• •Firearm Rentals - Choose from pistols, revolvers, and rifles. Useful if you want to try something before buying or don't have your own.
• •Range Time - By the hour or via membership. Video surveillance throughout the facility.
• •Ammo Sales - Most calibers available on-site. Range-appropriate rounds required for use.
• •Gunsmith Services - Available (specifics on their contact page).

The facility enforces standard safety protocols: firearms pointed downrange only, finger off trigger until ready, no drawing from holster, and properly cased firearms in and out of booths. No tracer, armor piercing, or incendiary ammunition. Closed-toed shoes required. Hoodies aren't allowed inside.

Minors under 18 must have a parent or guardian present and shoot from the same booth (one child per booth).
