5 Star Firearms

5 Star Firearms is an indoor shooting range, rental facility, and retail store in Zion, Illinois. The range itself is a 16-lane, 25-yard facility built by Target Worx, a company that has also built ranges for military installations and supplied the target retrieval system that debuted at the NRA Headquarters Range.

Firearm rentals cover pistols, revolvers, and rifles, and ammunition for most calibers is available for purchase on-site, with only range-appropriate ammunition permitted on the line (tracer, armor-piercing, and incendiary rounds are prohibited, and all firearms must carry sights or optics to be fired). Gun smith services are offered alongside the range and retail operations.

Two membership tiers, Standard and Elite, are available, each offering a choice of monthly or yearly payment and each including its own guest-pass allotment; the tiers differ in whether gun rentals are bundled in versus offered as an add-on.
