Abe Lincoln Gun Club (Junior Division)

Abe Lincoln Gun Club is a private shooting club located in Springfield, Illinois, offering competitive shooting programs and junior marksmanship training. The club operates a members-only facility with both indoor and outdoor ranges.

Abe Lincoln Gun Club maintains an active CMP Junior Shooting Program that is open to non-members. The junior division provides structured marksmanship instruction and training opportunities throughout the year, with dedicated fall and spring schedules.

The club is a private facility limited to 275 active regular members and is generally not open to the public. However, membership applications are accepted through a sponsorship process:

• •The sponsor contacts a Board member to obtain an application form
• •Approved applicants are placed on a waiting list
• •Average wait time for membership is 2-3 years

ALGC hosts multiple competitive matches monthly that are open to non-members, including:

• •High Power rifle competitions
• •Muzzleloader matches
• •Various regional shoots in partnership with area clubs
