Glisson Archery isn't trying to be everything to everyone. What sets them apart from big box sporting goods stores is the knowledge and hands-on experience of founder and owner Sonny Glisson—a true bow mechanic with over 50 years in the craft.
They've built facilities that actually work for different archery goals:
With 4 presses on-site, they handle any make or model of bow. Services include:
New to archery? Sonny typically gives a quick intro and safety walkthrough. For more structured learning, they offer private instruction at $20/hour or coaching at $5/hour (Tues–Fri). Equipment rental available for $5/day.
Scouts get special pricing: $1/day per scout to use the dedicated outdoor 3D range (east of main building). Supervising adults also welcome at $1/day.
The pro shop carries equipment from Browning, Martin, PSE, New Archery Products, Tru-Fire, Sure-Loc, Bear, Plano, Morrell, and Maple Leaf Press.
| Range Type | Pricing (Non-Members) |
|---|---|
| Indoor | $10 first hour / $5 additional |
| Outdoor broadhead or 100-yard | $10/hour |
| Outdoor 3D | $15/hour |
| Annual Club Membership | $150 + $60 NFAA |
They organize outfitting and guided hunts for bison, bear, and boar. Call for details.
