Freedom Seeders started in 2021 in Crawfordsville as a firearms dealer focused on quality builds. By 2025, they'd expanded into full manufacturing and recognized they needed a finish that matched their build quality—that's when Cerakote became their specialty. Now with a dedicated shop in Kokomo, they serve shooters across Central Indiana including Indianapolis, Tipton, Carmel, Westfield, and Brownsburg.
Firearms are the core business: - Complete handguns and AR platform rifles - Slides, frames, uppers, lowers, handguards - Bolts, charging handles, muzzle devices, stocks - Magazines and small parts - Revolvers and bolt-action rifles - Shotguns and optics mounting
But they don't stop at guns. They also refinish: - Automotive and motorsports components (wheels, exhaust manifolds, turbo housings) - Tools, electronics, and outdoor gear - Custom knives (fixed blade and folding) - Motorcycle and dirt bike parts - Tumblers, mugs, and personal accessories - Antique hardware and restoration projects
Kokomo location is Cerakote-only. No firearm retail or transfers. Firearms and NFA items must go through their Crawfordsville location. Parts-only shipments accepted in Kokomo.
Cerakote is the industry standard—a ceramic polymer coating sprayed and oven-cured for extreme durability. Resists scratches, corrosion, and temperatures up to 1800°F. Perfect for protection that lasts.
Gun Candy is where things get loud. Metallic sparkles, color-shifting effects, iridescent finishes, and that "candy coat" glaze that makes people stop and stare. Same protection as Cerakote, nothing basic about the look.

Aero Precision M4E1 Builder Sets ($499-619) finished in custom mixed urban camo with copper interiors and matching stocks. Multiple handguard lengths from 7.3" to 15".
Sig Sauer P365/P365XL Grip Modules ($189) in Freedom Seeders copper digital camo—does NOT include fire control group or slide.
Tumblers and Mugs: 32oz stainless steel in Graphite Black/Titanium ($40), 20oz distressed American flag ($45), custom options available.
Freedom Seeders is a fully licensed FFL and SOT operator. Josh Harris runs the operation across both locations. They accept all major credit cards and work by appointment in Kokomo. The shop takes pride in custom work—nothing off-the-shelf, everything built to spec.
Sandblasting and vinyl decals are also available to prep surfaces or add graphics to your project.
