Full description and what we offer
Backwoods Preserve Whitetails has been operating their Indiana hunting ranch since establishing their trophy whitetail operation in the late 1990s. The preserve spans rolling terrain with ponds, pine forests, hardwood stands, and natural funnels—habitat that's produced quality bucks for over two decades.
They offer both outfitter-guided hunts and free-range hunting trips:
Each day starts with breakfast and a strategy session with your guide. You'll hunt from box blinds or ladder stands (climbers and lock-ons welcome), with ATV access available if walking long distances isn't ideal. Midday breaks include lunch, then an evening hunt. They'll handle field scoring, skinning, cleaning, and quartering your harvest. Taxidermy and meat processing can be arranged.
"They host only one group at a time, ensuring that you receive the personalized trophy whitetail deer hunting experience you deserve."
Add-on options include half or full-day pheasant hunts and a 100-target sporting clay course (additional fees apply).
Hunting season runs September through March for whitetail; turkey season runs April-May.
