Tatone Investigations

Tatone Investigations provides firearm training and instruction to Northwest Indiana residents, with a focus on practical self-defense and legal concealed carry. Their instruction builds on real-world threat awareness while establishing solid fundamentals for shooters at any skill level.

Firearm Safety Class (2-3 hours) Covers firearm safety, function, handling, and handgun shooting fundamentals. Ideal for new shooters or anyone wanting a refresher. Satisfies the safety portion of CCW permit requirements when combined with additional training.

Concealed Carry Class (4-5 hours, includes safety instruction) Focuses on safe concealed carry practices, plus the moral, legal, and ethical considerations of carrying for self-defense. Topics include permit requirements, carry methods, and situational awareness. Cost: $125.

While Indiana doesn't require training for a handgun license, Tatone offers Utah, Arizona, and Florida CCW permits—which are recognized in 38+ states combined. This gives Indiana residents carry reciprocity across a much larger area. (Illinois reciprocity is not yet available to Indiana residents.)

Regular classes are scheduled on a calendar, but Tatone understands life gets busy. They offer smaller, more frequent classes at their current location and can coordinate custom schedules if standard times don't work. Private and personalized training courses are available upon request.
