Full description and what to expect
Cowboy Action Shooting at Cookhouse puts you on the clock in Old West scenarios with single-action revolvers, lever rifles, and shotguns. You'll adopt a period alias and costume, then work through timed stages that test speed and accuracy against historical backdrops. It's competitive but rooted in fun—shooters come for the character, the problem-solving, and the camaraderie.
The match runs through multiple stages designed around Old West themes and situations. Targets vary by scenario, and the clock is running the moment you holster. Fast, accurate shooting wins, but the real appeal is the community. Shooters treat SASS like a sport-shooting family reunion where everyone's got a handle and a story.
