Bloomington Archery Club has been running shooters out on the grounds since the early 1970s. They've built a family-friendly operation where experienced archers and newcomers both feel at home. No pressure to rush—you shoot at your own pace and enjoy the sport.
Monthly Outdoor Shoots - 30-target 3D courses set up on the 2nd weekend of each month - Starts at 10am - Challenging layouts across 40 acres of trails
Indoor Brush League - Friday nights, January 2–February 6 (6 weeks total) - Starts at 7pm at the clubhouse - 5 shoots with one makeup night included
Year-Round Practice Range - Open to members only - Covered bags and older 3D targets - Short and long range setup
BAC handles both traditional (longbow/recurve) and compound shooters. They're well-known for their concentration of traditional bowmen but pull in plenty of compound shooters too. Division breakdowns by age, gender, and equipment keep competition fair.
