White River Bowhunters

White River Bowhunters is a community-focused archery club established in 1951 and located in Mitchell, Indiana. For over 70 years, we've been dedicated to promoting archery as a sport and lifestyle through quality facilities, educational programs, and competitive opportunities.

White River Bowhunters offers a variety of archery experiences for all skill levels:

• •Indoor Archery Leagues - Year-round indoor league competitions, perfect for beating winter weather and maintaining your skills
• •3D Outdoor Courses - Full 3D archery courses set on scenic club grounds
• •Competitive Shoots - Host regional competitions, including ASA Qualifier events (May 2-3, 2026 tentatively scheduled)
• •Hunter Education - Formal hunter education programs to develop safe, responsible archers

Our expansive grounds feature comprehensive facilities for members:

• •Clubhouse available for event rentals
• •Pole barn and covered structures
• •RV and tent camping areas
• •Scenic Gregory Lake with shelterhouse and parking
• •Membership registration and administration

White River Bowhunters operates as a membership-based club. Membership registration is available, and club guidelines ensure a safe, organized environment. Regular monthly meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at approximately 6:30 PM.

The club maintains an active schedule with monthly newsletters, posted shoot scores, and a detailed event calendar. The shoot committee actively plans seasonal competitions and educational opportunities. Reserved dates ensure organized use of club facilities.
