Full description and what we offer
A&L Supply, LLC opened in 2014 after Alex and Lindsay had a frustrating encounter buying a handgun. The salesman kept pushing a pistol that didn't fit Lindsay's hands, refused to listen when they said no, and lost the sale. Alex decided then: he'd become an FFL dealer and do it right.
They started selling out of their home in Wyoming, moved to Stanton, Iowa in spring 2023, and opened their storefront after remodeling. They're closed Sundays—that's intentional—but open the rest of the week.
- •Firearms: Rifles, shotguns, pistols
- •Ammunition: Including hard-to-find rounds
- •Suppressors: NFA items available through FFL
- •Holsters & gun cases: Including handmade leather options
- •Fishing tackle and bulk organic foods (yes, really—Lindsay's into organic agriculture)
| Service | Notes |
|---|---|
| Gunsmithing | Custom work available |
| Rod/Reel Repairs | Full tackle service |
| Sewing Machine Repairs | General mechanical work |
| Leather Goods | Handmade holsters, aprons, dishcloths, bookmarks |
They make and sell their own leather holsters and other handcrafted items—worth checking out if you're in the area.
They like to educate on what they think is best, but they won't push you to get something you're obviously not interested in.
That's the opposite of how they got started. They listen first.
