Countryside Gun Dogs trains hunting dogs in East Central Iowa under Jeff Chapman's direct supervision. The operation limits how many dogs train at once—that's intentional. Each dog learns at different speeds, and Chapman adjusts programs to fit individual dogs rather than forcing them through a template.

Basic obedience through finished hunting dogs. Labs work blind retrieves with hand signals. Pointing dogs train to AKC Master Hunter or all levels of NAVHDA.
Honest assessment included. Chapman's reputation includes telling owners straight—what their dog can do and what it can't. Several dogs came in as basic bird dogs and moved to Master Hunter level once "that special something" surfaced during training.
When you pick up your trained dog, Chapman walks you through the whole process one-on-one. You'll know how to handle your dog before you leave. Post-training support included—he won't leave you looking for answers.
