Midwest Defense Solutions is a veteran-owned training and consulting company based in Sioux City, Iowa. They focus on what matters: getting people properly trained to carry concealed and confident in self-defense situations.

• •CCW Permit Courses are their core service. Students get the classroom instruction and hands-on training required to legally carry concealed in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Minnesota. The course covers firearm safety, handling, storage, state laws on deadly force, and concealed carry responsibilities.

• •Self-Defense Consulting is tailored to individuals, families, or businesses. They work through risk assessment, situational awareness, and defensive strategy development—practical stuff that actually applies to real life.

• •Self-Defense Shooting Classes run at Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced levels for anyone 12 or older.

Age requirement: 21+ for CCW (or 19 if turning 21 within 2 years). Ammo sales available at classes; rentals available for additional fees.

Carter Sitzmann leads instruction. He's a Marine veteran with genuine passion for firearms education and safety. USCCA-certified and works at American Brothers in Arms in Sioux City, so he's embedded in the local shooting community.
