The Iowa State Rifle & Pistol Association connects shooters statewide through organized competition and local club support. Based in North Liberty, IASRPA coordinates championship events, manages club networks, and funds youth scholarships.
IASRPA runs multiple championship programs throughout the year:
- •3 P Air Rifle Championship - Smallbore air gun competition
- •International Air Gun Championships - International-level air rifle events
- •Indoor Pistol Championship - Year-round pistol matches
- •High Power Championship - Full-power rifle competition
- •Service Rifle Championship - Military rifle events
- •Mid-range Championship - 300-yard rifle matches
- •M-1 Garand Championship - Specific to M-1 rifles
- •Light Rifle Championship - Lighter caliber rifle events

A portion of every membership directly funds IASRPA programs and scholarships for Iowa youth shooters.
IASRPA coordinates with 20+ affiliated clubs across the state, organized by region:
- •North West: River City Rifle & Pistol Club (Mason City)
- •Central: Central Iowa River Gun Club, Des Moines R&R Club
- •East Central: Davenport Shooting Association, Dubuque clubs
- •South East: Tri-State Gun Club
- •South West: Council Bluffs R&P Club
Each club runs its own matches and programs while supporting the statewide association.
IASRPA holds an annual meeting and social event featuring a meal and business meeting. The organization publishes "On the Mark" newsletter and maintains a rifle loan program for competitors.
