LeMars Sportsman's Club runs an outdoor shotgun facility south of Le Mars, Iowa on County Road C-38, half a mile east of Highway 75. The complex has four trap fields and one 5-stand field, with lighting for evening shooting. A sporting clays course is also part of the property.
The club runs a Monday Night League from June through October on the lighted field. It supports conservation and wildlife programs, youth outdoor education, and a scholarship program, alongside its trapshooting and social events for members and guests.
Restrictions
- •Alcohol consumption before or during shooting strictly prohibited
- •Eye and ear protection required at all times
- •Actions must be open and chambers empty when carrying firearms around the range
- •Shells only inserted at your assigned shooting station
- •Members and authorized participants only
- •No horseplay or distractions at the shooting line
