Joplin Rifle & Pistol Club

Joplin Rifle & Pistol Club is an established shooting sports organization serving the Joplin, Missouri community. Located approximately 4 miles west of Joplin, the club operates both indoor and outdoor shooting ranges dedicated to precision rifle and pistol sports.

The club specializes in competitive and recreational shooting with a strong emphasis on precision marksmanship:

• •Monthly Precision Rifle Matches - Regular MBA/BR (Minuteman/Benchrest) format competitions
• •Competitive Shooting Events - Organized matches throughout the year
• •Rifle and Pistol Sports - General range access for members
• •Safety-Focused Training - Comprehensive orientation for all shooters

Joplin Rifle & Pistol Club operates as a membership organization. Current membership requirements include:

• •Annual Membership Fee: $100 per year
• •Initiation Fee: $100 (one-time)
• •NRA Membership Required: Applicants must be current NRA members
• •Safety Orientation: Mandatory attendance at a club safety orientation meeting before range access
• •Sponsorship: Two current club members must sponsor new applicants

Members must attend at least one club business meeting, held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 8:00 PM at the indoor range (September meeting held after the annual club picnic).

The club maintains both indoor and outdoor shooting facilities. Safety orientations are held at the outdoor range throughout the year, with sessions scheduled monthly. Indoor range access requires attendance at a current safety orientation meeting.

Public access to the range is restricted. Visitors are welcome on designated public days only. If visiting on a public day, guests should observe all posted signs and introduce themselves to a club member upon arrival.
