Full description and what we offer
Pipe Creek Guide Service operates a fully guided hunting operation across exclusive private land in Ottawa, Cloud, and Saline counties, located near Minneapolis, Kansas—about 25 miles north of Salina off Interstate 135. The operation spans 50+ individual farms with rolling terrain, river and creek bottoms, and a mix of crops: soybeans, corn, milo, alfalfa, and wheat.
Unlike many outfitters, Pipe Creek enforces a 140-inch minimum buck policy. This isn't just a preference—it's enforced with financial penalties:
This management strategy has paid off. Hunters report consistent success on mature bucks, with many taking personal bests. One hunter harvested a 200" buck after 10+ years of repeat visits. In 2022, guide client Jason Diamond took a velvet 197 6/8 buck during Kansas muzzleloader season—the second-largest velvet whitetail ever taken in Kansas with a muzzleloader.
