Prairiefire Precision Gunsmithing focuses on one thing: making your rifle as accurate as possible. They don't cut corners to move jobs through faster. The shop opened because the owner, Michael Bugenhagen, spent countless hours perfecting his own rifles and wanted to offer that same level of care to shooters who demand accuracy.

Barrel & Action Work: - New barrel installation with precision chambering, threading, and crowning - Muzzle brake installation and threading - Stock bedding and free-float barrel channels - Action face truing - Headspace evaluation and chamber inspection
Accurizing & Repair: - AR and bolt action accurizing - Scope mounting and sight-in service - Firearm deep cleaning - General firearms repair - Epoxy sleeve bolts
Finishing: - Cerakote coating (barrels, actions, misc. parts) - Sandblast and bead blasting
All machining work uses 1/10,000th-inch indicator gauges for precision. A full barrel installation with inspection, chambering, threading, crowning, and bead blasting runs $350. Cerakote a barrel for $80, or a complete barreled action for $175.
