Glen Elder Wildlife Area Shooting Range is a public shooting facility integrated within the Glen Elder Wildlife Area, a 13,200-acre management area surrounding the 12,500-acre Glen Elder Reservoir located 13 miles west of Beloit, Kansas, on U.S. Highway 24.

The range serves both hunters and sport shooters with daylight-hours access. Visitors use the facility for:

  • •Game shooting - Preparation for hunting pheasant, waterfowl, deer, turkey, quail, and doves
  • •Target practice - General firearm proficiency and sighting-in
  • •Shotgun practice - For upland game and waterfowl seasons

The range operates as a self-service facility during daylight hours only. All hunters using the Glen Elder Wildlife Area are required to check in and out daily via the online system at ksoutdoors.com/checkin using your Kansas hunting license credentials. This applies to all range users.

As a public wildlife area facility, the range offers:
