Don Fraley founded Advanced Weapons Technology, LLC to share 25 years of firearms expertise earned through military service, law enforcement, and competitive shooting. He's a former lead sniper for the Kentucky State Police SRT team and won the prestigious Carlos Hathcock sniper school's "Top Gun" award.

His background includes training as a combat medic, light and heavy weapons specialist with the 19th Special Forces Group, and combat engineer with the 478th Combat Engineer Battalion.

Fraley builds his own line of 1911 handguns and precision rifles, plus custom 1911s for other firearm manufacturers under contract. He works with law enforcement agencies, tactical teams, and drug interdiction units on custom builds and training.

The comprehensive long-range class costs $1,200 and covers 21 topics—from sniping history and ranging techniques to barrel selection, ammunition loading, and environmental factors affecting accuracy. Morning classroom instruction, afternoons on the range.

Class covers optics, reticles, troubleshooting inaccurate rifles, powder selection for barrel harmonics, case prep, and everything needed to make a successful first-round long-range shot.
