Phalanx Firearms Training Institute runs comprehensive concealed carry certification courses that meet all legal requirements under Kentucky Revised Statutes. Each class covers what you actually need to know: legal requirements, safety practices, and self-defense fundamentals.
- •6.5 hours classroom instruction
- •1.5 hours live fire range time
- •Training certification for Kentucky State Police or County Sheriff's Department submission
After completion, you submit the certification to get your background checks processed for your CCDW License.
- •Your own pistol (required)
- •40 rounds of ammunition (required)
- •Ear and eye protection (or purchase onsite for $5)
- •Course Cost: $80 (separate from state police and county sheriff fees)
