Full description and what we offer
Impact Armory & Service runs on an appointment-only basis, but they're open and ready to coat your firearms, knives, and accessories. They're factory-trained and certified Cerakote applicators—not a hobbyist operation.
Cerakote™ is a polymer-ceramic composite coating that bonds to metals, plastics, polymers, and wood. It handles abrasion, corrosion, chemicals, and impact better than most aftermarket finishes. The durability stack up: combined with Armor Clear™, Cerakote outperforms nickel and hard chrome plating in flexibility and color options.
Cerakote Coating Lines: - Elite Series — Extreme performance for guns, knives, optics, and industrial valves - H-Series — Industry standard, salt-water resistant - High Temp Firearm — Rated for barrels, muzzle brakes, suppressors on full-auto, NFA, and military platforms - Gen II NiR — Visual and near-infrared signature management (law enforcement and military only)
Custom Work: - In-house pattern and stencil creation using heat-resistant vinyl - One-of-a-kind custom finishes and themed builds - Cerakote engraving services
The Durability Reality: Cerakote will scratch, dent, or chip under hard use—that's normal. The underlying hard anodized coating (on aluminum) continues protecting the part even if the top finish gets dinged. They guarantee satisfaction: if you're not happy with your finish, they redo it at no cost.
A silicon cloth wipe-down reduces friction and extends the life of your finish. Cerakote isn't warranted against surface damage from use, but the coating itself carries Impact Armory's satisfaction guarantee.
