Kentucky State Rifle and Pistol Association is dedicated to advancing marksmanship and firearm safety through organized competition, training, and community. Open to shooters of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels, KYSRPA functions as a hub for Kentucky's shooting sports community.
- •Indoor Ranges: Climate-controlled smallbore (22LR) and air rifle facilities
- •Competitive Shooting: Tournaments and matches across multiple disciplines
- •Instructional Courses: Group clinics and one-on-one training
- •Youth Programs: JROTC and junior shooter development, including air rifle scholarships through CMP
- •Range Access: Scott Mountain Range at Fort Knox with firing points at 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, and 1000 yards
Members get unlimited access to all facilities and discounted rates on clinics and matches. Day passes available for those not ready to commit to full membership.
KYSRPA partners with Southern Indiana Rifle and Pistol Club for additional shooting opportunities and is actively fundraising to build a multi-discipline outdoor range complex in Central Kentucky.
While they shoot "every genre imaginable," KYSRPA emphasizes precision marksmanship. Their indoor smallbore and air rifle program specifically targets junior, JROTC, and college shooters—including those pursuing scholarships for competitive air rifle shooting.
