Damian Loveless grew up in Western Kentucky where the waterways defined his childhood. By his teens, he was commercial fishing Kentucky's lakes with his brother, pulling catfish over the side of a StarCraft boat. He earned a Bachelor's in Biology from Murray State University and has spent the last 22 years as a high school biology teacher—a career that gave him the time and knowledge to pursue his real passion: hunting and fishing.

In the early 2000s, Damian became serious about tournament bowfishing. His team earned sponsorship from AMS Bowfishing and spent countless hours on the water honing skills at locating and taking rough fish with archery gear. The same methodical approach he learned in tournament competition now applies to every client trip.

Damian doesn't just take you fishing or hunting—he reads the season. Winter means deep holes for blue cats in the old river channels. Spring brings pre-spawn tactics on the flats. Summer heat pushes him toward tailwater areas where oxygen is abundant. Fall restarts the cycle as water cools and fish feed up for winter. He knows when conditions are too hot to chase lake fish and when to shift to evening and night patterns for better bites.

He also scouts the water the night before trips and maintains a network of other serious outdoorsmen who spend constant time on the water. Result: you get put in target-rich environments instead of dead zones.

Bowfishing on Kentucky Lake, Barkley Lake, Tennessee River & Cumberland River - Up to 4 shooters (typically 2 on the deck at a time for safety) - Alternate rotation so everyone gets trigger time - Target species: buffalo, common carp, gar, invasive bighead and silver carp - $500 per boat (approximately 4-6 hours) - Second boat available if needed

Catfishing on Kentucky Lake, Barkley Lake, Cumberland River & Tennessee River - 1-2 fishermen (additional anglers available with advance notice) - Fish 4-6 rods simultaneously depending on technique - Blue cats and channel cats year-round with seasonal pattern adjustments - Flexible departure times; can extend trips if no other bookings - $500 per boat (approximately 4-6 hours) - Winter (January-February): deep-hole fishing for blue cats - Spring (May-June): flats fishing for pre-spawn and post-spawn cats - Summer: tailwater areas when lake temps exceed 80°F - Fall: excellent bite as water cools

Duck Hunting on Kentucky Lake (Layout Boats) - 1-2 hunters per layout boat (can arrange second boat and bank spread for larger groups) - Open water method using Erie-style layout boats with large diver spreads - Target bluebills, goldeneyes, buffleheads, and mixed divers - Legal shooting hours until limits taken or ~6 hours (approximately) - $600 per boat - Best action in cold weather when bird activity increases

Noodling (Hand-Grabbing/Hogging) - 1-4 people per trip - Adrenaline-focused experience for bucket-list adventurers - $600 per boat - Additional people available for a fee
