Click Here to Sign Up! Firearm Foundations | Bud’s Gun Shop & Range, Lexington KY Only $45. For this class, you must pay in advance with a credit card. Unpaid orders for seating will not be honored. In our Firearm Foundations session, you’ll learn the important basics of firearm safety and how to properly grip, sight, and shoot handguns. Whether you are new to firearms, or perhaps you have already purchased a firearm, but just lack experience—this is the class for you! This is serious subject matter for sure, but we keep it fun while you learn: –Basic Firearms Safety –Getting familiar with the parts and operation of handguns –Gripping, aiming, stance and trigger press –Considerations of using a handgun The second part of the course focuses on live-fire in our unique Training Range. We feature a variety of handguns in rimfire (.22LR) and centerfire calibers (.38 spl and 9mm) and each participant will get to choose then try several different firearms. We provide:

DO NOT BRING A FIREARM TO THIS CLASS–HANDGUNS ARE PROVIDED! IF SPOT IS RESERVED FOR A MINOR (UNDER 18) THEY MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. THERE MUST BE AN ADULT FOR EACH MINOR. This is a perfect opportunity to learn the fundamentals of shooting without the noise, flash, and recoil of larger calibers.
