Full description and what we offer
Kenzie Fitzpatrick grew up hunting duck and deer in Alabama and Louisiana with her grandfathers and father. After years away from firearms during college, she jumped into competitive shooting in 2014 at Florida State University's Rifle Association. Her first match—a GSSF competition at Talon Range—launched what became a decade of competing across 3-Gun, 2-Gun, AK matches, PRS, NRL22, USPSA, Steel Challenge, and Cowboy Action events.
That competitive experience shapes everything she teaches. She's tested equipment obsessively—hybrid holsters, sling bags, velcro purses, belly bands, the Enigma chassis system—so she can help students find what actually works.
Specialty areas: - Pistol, rifle, and shotgun fundamentals - Concealed carry (with emphasis on off-body options) - Dry fire and live fire practice methods - AK variants, bolt actions, 1911s, hammer-fired pistols
The "No Excuses" approach: Kenzie separates couples during training—concealed carry options differ by gender, and you won't always be together when things go bad. Everyone needs to defend themselves independently.
Kenzie hosts the Reticle Up Podcast and writes professionally in the firearms industry. She travels to host classes at willing ranges—fill out the contact form if your area is interested.
The philosophy: Emergency response is slow. When something happens fast, you're your own first responder. Getting trained, educated, and practicing regularly is your responsibility.
