This was the final day of Bowie Outfitters' overstock auction—a clearing event of excess inventory from their Louisiana operation. The auction ran online only with items distributed across two physical locations for pickup.

Pickup dates were scheduled by phone after winning. Do not show up unannounced—Bowie can only process a limited number of background checks daily.

Pricing structure: - 18% buyer's premium on all bids - $40 background check fee (paid to Bowie Outfitters) - Transfer fees paid directly to Bowie - Separate shipping charges based on weight/box size - $8.99 handling fee per box if shipped via USPS

All firearms required standard ATF Form 4473 and background check before transfer. For out-of-state buyers, guns could be shipped from Bowie Outfitters' FFL services to your preferred local FFL dealer for a fee based on weight and box size.

NFA/Class 3 firearms (short-barreled rifles, suppressors, machine guns) required: - $200 federal tax stamp per transfer - ATF Form 4, fingerprint card, Form 5330.20 - 120+ days for BATFE approval - State-specific compliance (some states prohibit machine guns entirely: California, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington D.C., Washington)
