Intuitive Defense

Intuitive Defense takes the "sucks" out of firearms training. Gun ownership and self-defense aren't just serious—they can be engaging and competitive without cutting corners on safety or fundamentals.

Instead of typical drills, Intuitive Defense created NOOB (available free to download). It's a competitive range game designed around:

• •40+ customizable shooting challenges with specific tasks, conditions, and standards
• •Multi-player format that works solo or in groups
• •Skill-based difficulty that scales from beginner to advanced
• •Focus on fundamentals: trigger control, sight alignment, weapon manipulation, movement under pressure
• •Video library: 44 season episodes showing challenges in action, plus coaching breakdowns for failures

The challenges have names like Blind Fury, Elevator Down, London Bridge, and Under the Covers—each targeting specific shooting and manipulation skills. Challenges are organized into two difficulty tiers:

Hybrid Handgun 1 covers foundational pistol skills. Hybrid Handgun 2 is the advanced course—an 8-11 hour intensive for shooters who've completed Handgun 1 or equivalent training.

Approximately 1,136 rounds of live fire across ~29 courses of fire (or 771 rounds in the low-count alternative).

• •Prerequisites: Must complete Hybrid Handgun 1 or equivalent training first (proof required)

• •Accessibility: Participants must be able to move freely without crutches, canes, or wheelchairs; must stand for extended periods

• •Semi-automatic pistol (no revolvers)
• •Minimum 2 magazines (4 recommended)

• •Long pants with belt loops, durable material, closed-toe shoes

• •Your own ammunition OR purchase from Intuitive Defense (FMJ recommended for range use)

New to pistols? No problem. Intuitive Defense rents:

• •Pistols for hands-on training experience before buying
• •Equipment (holsters, pouches, accessories)
• •Ammunition in 100-round increments or full course loadouts (FMJ)
• •"John Wick Experience": Shoot multiple pistol types, including red dot equipped guns, at the end of your course

This lets you test-drive firearms and find what works for you before dropping money at a gun store.

The biggest difference between a new shooter and an advanced shooter is that the advanced shooter has a more effective and efficient understanding and implementation of the basic shooting and weapons manipulation fundamentals.
