Max Michel's Pro Shooter Experience is a 3-day intensive handgun training event held in Las Vegas featuring instruction from three elite competitive shooters: Max Michel (IPSC World Champion, 13-time USPSA National Champion, Guinness World Record holder), Doug Koenig (multiple Bianchi Cup and Steel Challenge champion, TV personality), and JJ Racaza (three-time world speed shooting champion, former DHS Lead Firearms Instructor, USPSA Triple Grand Master).

The instruction covers explosive, dynamic, high-speed marksmanship—not traditional firing line shooting. Expect to work on:

•Speed drawing from a holster
•Speed reloads and magazine changes
•Movement drills under pressure
•Fundamental pistol mechanics
•Battlefield-proven advanced techniques
•Action shooting competition drills

The schedule runs Thursday evening through Sunday afternoon with 3 full days of range time (breakfast, briefing, and instruction sessions included). Plan to shoot approximately 1,500 rounds total—ammunition can be pre-ordered through the organizers.

Minimum age is 21 (or 18 with a chaperone). Attendees range from solo shooters to father/son pairs to competitive groups. Limited spots available, with payment split 50% deposit upfront and balance due 90 days prior.

The centerpiece is a private competition on Sunday where attendees shoot 5 courses of fire alongside all three champions, receiving coaching and critique through each stage. This gives you direct feedback from world-record holders on your actual shooting performance.
