Full description and what we offer
River Bend Sportsman's Club operates as a member-run hunting club on private lease land in Louisiana. As a Tier 1 DMAP property, members hunt under a managed deer program that issues separate buck and antlerless tags—deer killed on the lease don't count against your LDWF Big Game License tags or the 6-deer limit on non-DMAP properties.
The club maintains: - Member waiting list (limited availability) - Annual work hour requirements or $100 fee (due by September 30) - Dedicated stand assignments (4 stands per member maximum) - Pin-in log system for hunter location tracking
Buck restrictions are enforced: 1st buck requires 14" inside spread OR 16" main beam; 2nd buck requires 14" inside spread OR 19" main beam. Violations result in $100 fines.
Members are allowed: - Maximum 2 bucks and 2 does per season - Archery season: October 1-15 (bucks only), October 16-February 15 (either-sex) - All deer must be tagged immediately upon recovery
Brandon Stafford (985-515-2670), the LDWF DMAP Biologist, delivers tags before each season. All harvest data is recorded by the club—do not call kills in to LDWF.
The club provides property maps, kill records, and maintains updated Charter & By-Laws accessible to all members.
