Full description and what we offer
Four Peaks Guide Service operates out of Kingfield in Maine's Western Mountains—the region famous for producing bucks that reach nearly 300 lbs field dressed. John McCluskey, a third-generation Master Maine Guide with over 20 years of experience, runs the operation and specializes in whitetail deer hunting, fly fishing, and upland bird hunting.
The region's diverse habitat—hardwood and coniferous forest, mountains, old orchards, and swamps—grows trophy-class deer. Four Peaks offers three hunting styles:
Group Hunts (3 hunters max per guide) Arrive Sunday, hunt Monday-Saturday noon. Guide, transportation, lunch, and game care included. - Two hunters: $1,800/person - Three+ hunters: $1,500/person
One-on-One Deer Tracking All-day hunts in any weather. You'll need to be in good shape for this personalized adventure. - $2,500 per person
Muzzleloader hunting happens during a separate, exciting season. Same format: blinds, stands, and still-hunting with 3 hunters per guide max. - Two hunters: $1,500/person - Three+ hunters: $1,200/person
Western Maine's mix of hardwood edges, farm fields, overgrown orchards, and thousands of acres of commercial forest offers excellent grouse and woodcock opportunities. Four Peaks hunts with German short-haired pointers or welcomes your own dog.
The region is blue-ribbon trout water. Four Peaks fishes rivers, streams, lakes, and ponds with customized trips.
