Dietrich Gunsmithy has been running since 2005 out of Otis, Maine. The operation is family-owned with a head gunsmith trained at Colorado School of Trades. They don't do high-volume work—they focus on getting each project done right.

Their photo gallery shows the actual level of detail: a Pre-64 Winchester 1894 with a full 26" octagon barrel and hand-checkered wood, a Mauser Mannlicher with custom full-length stock, benchrest .22s with tight-bore Lilja barrels and adjustable triggers, and precision varmint rifles with custom actions and quality optics. These aren't quick jobs—they're builds that take time.
