Full description and what we offer
Chesapeake Trophies Outfitter LLC guides waterfowl hunters on the Chesapeake Bay near Baltimore. This isn't casual hunting—the Bay can be brutal and unpredictable. Weather shifts, migration patterns change daily, and you need to be ready for cold water and demanding conditions. That's why they scout the day before every hunt to maximize your odds of finding birds.
Their guides possess Masters Captain licenses and focus specifically on diver ducks and seaducks—the hardest waterfowl to hunt consistently on the Bay.
They run two types of boats: - 2-person Core Sound Layout Boat (for stealth and small groups) - 25-foot Duckwater Bluewater Boat (more space and comfort)
Parties don't get mixed. You book with your crew and hunt with your crew.
| Duration | Group Size | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| 4 hours | 1-4 people | $1,000 minimum |
| Each additional person (up to 6 total) | $250 per person |
What you need to bring: - Maryland state hunting license and stamps - Your own firearm (they won't provide one) - Non-lead shotshells only - Warm, dry clothing and waders recommended - Drinks and snacks
Hunters consistently mention the scouting prep. One returned hunter noted: "They do their homework right up until the night before so you are hunting the best possible chance for either species or number you are looking for." Another booked back-to-back years after limiting out on bluebills and canvasbacks in a single morning.
They prioritize safety above all. Weather can force cancellations, and they'll reschedule you for better conditions. All deposits are non-refundable due to prep and limited availability.
