Mason Dixon Game Outfitters operates a working farm and hunting preserve established in 1996. Their 350-acre property mixes natural rolling hills, flowing streams, crop fields, thickets, and wooded areas—terrain built for upland bird hunting the way it used to be done.

You can hunt pheasant, quail, and chukar. They release birds per your request before arrival and provide a guide plus trained dog for the hunt. They run:

"We only allow one group on the farm at a time." This means you get the place to yourself during your hunt.

They use the Rick & Ronnie Smith Method—a system developed by renowned dog trainer Ronnie Smith that emphasizes understanding how dogs think. Training covers obedience, fitness, and hunting skills at all levels.

Their kennel is licensed as a training facility, so every dog boarding with them gets worked with to gain fitness, obedience, or hunting skill benefits.

As an approved animal rescue, they take in unwanted or rescued puppies and dogs—primarily bird dogs and hunting dogs. Dogs are available for adoption from owners committed to their care. They also sell hunting dogs from their own lines.
