Founded in 1930, the Marshfield Rod & Gun Club operates on approximately 100 acres of unspoiled upland woods in Marshfield, Massachusetts. The property has evolved significantly since its early days—the clubhouse was built in 1952, expanded in 1960, and the four-acre pond was dug in 1953-54 to serve both fishing and training purposes.
The club supports action shooting, bullseye pistol, shotgun sports, junior rifle, gallery small bore rifle, and archery at competitive and recreational levels. Members also fish, train hunting dogs, and participate in specialty shoots and family outings.
Membership is open to adults, families, and juniors. The club holds monthly membership meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm (no meetings July-August). Key programs include:
