Full description and what we offer
NH Guides Association is a directory and membership organization connecting hunters and anglers with licensed guides throughout New Hampshire and northern New England. The network includes 30+ active guides offering specialized services across multiple game types and regions.
Game Hunting: - Deer hunting (multiple counties) - Black bear hunts (baited and wilderness) - Moose hunts (spike tent camps and lodge accommodations) - Turkey hunting - Upland game (ruffed grouse and woodcock over English Setters and Pointers) - Waterfowl hunting - Small game
Fishing Guides: - Warm water fishing - Cold water / ice fishing - Saltwater fishing - Fly fishing (Wade and Drift trips) - Family-oriented ice fishing for introducing kids to the sport
Additional Services: - Watercraft-based hunts and fishing - Dog training and hunting preparation (some guides specialize in working with emerging bird dogs) - Multi-day outings with remote camp options
The guides are licensed NH hunting guides (many also registered Maine guides) with 15-40+ years of hunting and fishing experience across New England.
Members include specialists like Tom Caron (19 seasons guiding upland birds), Marie Madaras at Silver Lion Kennels (focuses on bird dog training and grouse hunting), and Jason Michelson (Northern New England Outfitters—baited black bear hunts and moose specialists). Brendan Hayes specializes in working with new hunters and those new to New Hampshire.
Guides operate across New Hampshire's counties including Coos, Grafton, Carroll, Strafford, Sullivan, Cheshire, and Merrimack, with some extending into northern Vermont and coastal Maine.
Most guides offer seasonal trips tailored to their specialties—check individual profiles for county service areas and specific game types.
