Full description and what we offer
Semper Fi Firearms Training operates under the leadership of Andre Macon, Chief Instructor and former U.S. Marine who served as a Marksmanship Firearm Instructor. Macon trained personnel across all branches of the Armed Forces—Army, Navy, Coast Guard, and Marines—in firearms fundamentals and advanced weaponry. Now an NRA Certified Instructor and NRA Training Counselor (one of the highest honors in NRA education), he brings military-grade instruction to civilian concealed carry licensing.
The Basic Pistol course meets all state requirements for Michigan CPL and Florida CCW/CWP licenses. Eight hours of instruction covers:
- •Safe storage, use, and handling of pistols
- •Ammunition knowledge and shooting fundamentals
- •Firearms laws, civil liability, and use of deadly force
- •Criminal avoidance and violent confrontation control
- •State-specific concealed carry regulations
The price is straightforward: $125 includes free firearm rental, lunch, and ammunition (extra ammo available for $15-$35). Upon completion, you receive a certificate required for your state CCW/CPL application.
No online classes. All training happens in-person with classroom instruction followed by live range time. This isn't a test mill—it's hands-on training from Marines.

Designed for everyday citizens, security personnel, military, and law enforcement. Two modules:
- •Course 1A: Weapon Retention & Disarming ($100) — Learn holstered and drawn weapon defense
- •Course 1B: Tactical Handcuffing & Joint Lock Control ($150 combined with 1A)
Semper Fi runs NRA Instructor Training Courses across Michigan, Illinois, and Florida. Upon completion, you'll meet all requirements to teach concealed pistol license courses. Options include:
- •5-Day NRA Instructor Course: $575 (held January-March 2026)
