Dynamic Tactical Defense

Dynamic Tactical Defense combines hand-to-hand combat instruction with defensive firearms courses. Based in Grandville, Michigan, they teach Krav Maga (the Israeli military's official combat system), Combative Jujitsu, and tactical shooting—all focused on real-world self-defense situations.

Krav Maga is built on brutal, effective techniques designed for the IDF. It strips away the ceremonial elements of traditional martial arts and focuses on street-applicable scenarios. Classes run for kids (6-12), women (13+), and general adults (13+).

Combative Jujitsu evolved from Combat Judo, originally developed for military hand-to-hand needs. The system teaches dangerous techniques designed to quickly defeat opponents, with options for finishing moves and rapid transitions between attackers.

Firearm Courses include CPL classes, combat shooting, and other tactical courses listed on their special courses schedule.

Five certified instructors with combined experience exceeding 90 years. Head instructor Van Adams holds certifications in Krav Maga, Israeli Combat Shooting, Defensive Tactics, and Combative Jujitsu. Other instructors bring 20-30 years of martial arts experience and multiple certifications.
