Precise Firearms Safety Training focuses on what matters: getting people through Michigan's Concealed Pistol License requirements with actual competence. Instructor Joshua Howe runs 8-hour certification courses that cover proper handling, storage, maintenance, marksmanship fundamentals, and the legal landscape around firearm ownership.

"Josh did a great job of making you feel comfortable while enforcing the importance of safety. He was very knowledgeable and patient." — Student, Feb 2024

Approximately 7.6% of Michiganders currently hold a CPL. Crime rates among CPL holders run about 0.02% of permit holders — meaning CPL holders are 26x less likely to have committed a crime than the general population.

Upon completion, students receive a certificate meeting Michigan's requirements to apply for a Concealed Pistol License. The curriculum balances responsible ownership principles with practical skills through interactive demonstrations and hands-on exercises in a controlled range environment.
