Will Brothers Restoration didn't just open yesterday. Their grandfather, Fred Will Jr., was a WWI veteran and competitive shooter who started selling and servicing firearms in Detroit during the 1920s. In 1942, he and his brother Harold opened Will's Gun Shop in Northeast Michigan—and kept it running for 65 years.
Their father Calvin grew up in that shop, learned the trade, and expanded it into one of the largest retail operations in the region. They were warranty stations for Browning, Ithaca, Remington, and Weatherby. They even manufactured their own Will-Glo colored Lucite gun sights.
That legacy didn't disappear when the original shop closed in 2007. It evolved.
They focus on preserving your sporting heritage—restoring vintage and classic firearms, building custom hunting and target rifles, and keeping shooting tradition alive in Northeast Michigan.
