Own Willowfield Farms?
01 // DETAILS
Full description and what we offer
Willowfield Farms operates a pheasant hunting preserve on the west side of Michigan, just outside the Grand Rapids area. The property spans 200 acres with planted upland fields, woodlands, and specialized facilities for serious hunters.
The upland fields are planted with sorghum, corn, switch grass, timothy, indian grass, and big bluestem. Beyond the hunting grounds, the facility includes:
Tower hunts run on a 56-bird ($285/station) or 80-bird ($395/station) format, require 8 hunters minimum, and typically occur Saturday mornings or Sunday afternoons.
These European-style hunts require 8 participants and are randomly scheduled throughout the season. Bird retrieval is handled by Storms Ahead Kennels—no personal dogs allowed during the tower hunt itself. After the tower hunt, birds are distributed equally and a follow-up hunt can be organized for those with dogs or hiring handlers.
Lodge rental is available for member and non-member overnight stays, customizable to include bird hunting as part of the package.
